It's been a long time since I made a blog post. Probably because there was nothing that happened in my life since April that is worth sharing to the world?? Also, my first semester as a graduating student gave me tons of stuff to do. We were doing our thesis together with other subjects and it was really hard to cope up with time. Speaking of thesis, me together with my thesis mates went to Ilocos to accomplish things but I'll share that with you in another blog post :) Going back to the where this post must be all about... I went to Doha, Qatar last November 15 - November 23. My dad has been working there for a few years now, and he decided to bring me there. I apologize for my pictures because my camera got broken before this trip so I was not able to bring it. I only had my iPhone and an action cam which I borrowed from my best friend, I used to action cam to take videos for the vlog I made. Read till the end to watch it!
It was an 8 hour flight from Manila - Doha. This was my first long plane ride. We left Manila at around 10pm but it was supposed to be 9pm, it was delayed cos the plane had trouble landing for it drizzled earlier in the afternoon. I was really nervous and can't stop thinking about "What if the plane crashes? Will I survive? What if while I'm asleep, worst things will happen? and next thing I know I'm in heaven already? OMG!", but the second the plane took off, I kept myself busy searching for movies installed in the plane's tv or whatever you call it. First movie I selected was Captain America: The First Avenger, when I was in the middle of watching the movie, dinner was served so I paused it. After eating, I fell asleep already and I was awaken by dad when it was time for another meal again. After eating again, I watched Alice Through the Looking Glass and by the time the movie was done, it was time for landing at Doha. It was 12am in Doha when we arrived. I was really tired, I went to bed the minute we arrived at dad's home.
The morning after, Dad woke me up at 5am as he was preparing for work so we can eat breakfast together. After eating, he left the house at 6am and I was left alone at the house. I just watched tv the whole day, video call with the boyfie & mama, and scrolled through my social media feed. When dad came home, we went to Villagio Mall for dinner.
When Dad said he was serious about me going to Qatar, I immediately went through David Guison's Instragram profile to list the place where he went when he visited Doha. He went to The Pearl Mall, Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village, The Corniche, Museum of Islamic Art and Qatari Desert. I was happy to get to tick off Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village and The Corniche in this list!!!
Here are my photos at Souq Waqif,
Katara Cultural Village
This place is home to different Qatari organizations. The buildings and facilities here were arranged in order to reflect the country's cultural and architectural heritage.
You should really try their burgers and milkshake!!!
That wraps up my trip! Here is my first travel video! Stay tuned for my next blog and video! It's gonna be lit!!!
Till next time! xx

Dad had a joke that in this mall it's always day time because it has well-lighted ceilings and clouds.
Villagio Mall is near The Torch Doha. Currently the tallest hotel in Qatar standing at 300 meters.
Next day, same routine again. We ate breakfast together at 5am (Doha time), Dad went to work at 6am and we just stayed home because I had dysmenorrhea.
Dad resides at Mesaieed Industrial City. His home is provided by the company where he works.
Next day, Dad is already on night shift. So in the morning we went to the nearby resort just to take a stroll on the sand and do sight-seeing. I was so happy I get to feel what it's like to walk on fine sand. I had a hard time because my feet sinks in the sand and when we got back to walk on concrete again, sand had gotten inside my shoes! It was also hard to get rid of that annoying feeling of sand on my toes!
There was a Doha Bus Adventure parked outside the Sealine Beach Resort so we stopped for photos.

There is a amphitheater that gives visitors the Colosseum feel.
Performances or concerts are held here every now and then, spectators can sit and relax around while enjoying an open air show.
Of course, I had to do some OOTD shots.
Good thing, dad got some good shots when we here and it didn't take a long time for me to do the poses all over again 'cos it was getting humid already.
Top and leggings: H&M
Shoes: Nike Air Huarache
These are the Pigeon Towers. It is intended for the pigeons or doves so they have a place to nest.
These colorful benches are perfect for resting after strolling around Katara.
Corniche
The Doha Corniche is a waterfront promenade extending for several kilometers along Doha Bay.
Behind me is Doha Bay and the Doha Skyline
The Corniche seafront is a good place for jogging.
The Pearl Monument
Another thing that got me excited about going to Qatar....SHAKE SHACK!!! David Guison snapped it when he ate 5 burgers in one visit! When dad brought me there for dinner, I was hungry that time so when the burger came, I forgot to take a pic of it! At least I had a picture of the counter while waiting for our order.
