Singapore 2015 Travel Diary

8:36 PM

Our family trip to Singapore a year ago was made possible by my uncle and his wife. He wants to spend his vacation outside of the Philippines together with my grandmother (father's side). This was my first out of the country trip together with my two sisters as well. They didn't book for a tour package since my father is already familiar around the city because he has been going there for several times already for trainings that his work as n airport firefighter offers. We arrived there at around 3 or 4pm I think. First stop was to have dinner at Makansutra Gluttons Bay just across the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and just around Raffles Avenue. From the hotel we took a cab and unfortunately the driver wasn't able to understand our English. He heard Newton Bay rather than Gluttons Bay.

Guess I was too late to snap a photo.. My buddies were too excited to eat.

After having dinner we had a short stroll at the nearby park and had a sight at the famous Merlion statue.

The morning after was scheduled for Universal Studios!!!!! We spent the whole morning up until afternoon. I really had a great time there but how I wish we also got to see the whole of Sentosa resort. I'll just wait until I graduate so I can go back there :)

(see that bald man over there at the right? That's my dad! haha)

While walking around, there was music suddenly all over the place. When I looked out for what was it for I was surprised to see two minions dancing :)

Aunt and uncle just took a selfie with a minion statue cos they don't want to fall in line to have a picture with the two minions who danced.

Waiting in line for the Madagascar ride

Land of Far Far Away Castle

I am afraid of dinosaurs kahit sa movie ko lang sila nakikita. I was happy these two aren't real.

This little fella welcomed me while on the way to Sesame Street. I just adore the cuteness of this souvenir car.

 Big Bird's Souvenir Shop

Sesame Street happiness!!!!!!

After roaming around Universal Studios, we went inside the candylicious store.

Just posed for quick photo outside Hard Rock Cafe.

THAT'S A WRAP! This picture explains how happy we were after all the exhaustion from this trip.

Till next time, Singapore!
